Common Name: Endler, Endlers Livebearer, Cumana Guppy, Campoma Guppy.
Origin: Campoma and Cumana regions of Venezuela.
Care Level: Easy.

Diet: Omnivore/Micro predator (will eat nearly any food it can fit in in their mouth). High protein is crucial in young and gestating females. Grazing becomes more important in adults and should be available.
Adaptability: Easily acclimates to most water conditions, temperatures, food.
Lifespan: 2-3 years in normal conditions.
Breeding: “Just add water.” Gestation 23-28 days, 1-50 babies, Females can be bred as early as 30 days.
Prey on Fry: Males and younger females generally not (due to mouth size) older/larger females it can become a learned habit.
Aquarium: Endlers jump; even the smallest openings will be exploited. Water changes stimulate their jumping drive as do temperatures over 88F°.
Tank Ratio: Optimum gender ratio for P. Wingei is two females to one male. For endler hybrids, four females to one male.
